WIMBA Cervical Collar GO: C1–C2 Support for Dogs

WIMBA Cervical Collar GO

WIMBA Cervical Collar GO is an adjustable, 3D-printed cervical orthosis designed to provide external support to the upper cervical spine. Available in five sizes for mini and toy-breed dogs, it is selected and ordered by veterinary professionals through WimbaAPP using three patient measurements. No WimbaBOX or 3D scan is required.

Application and adjustment of WIMBA Cervical Collar GO

External Cervical Support Within the Treatment Plan

In selected patients, limiting unwanted cervical movement may form part of conservative management or provide temporary support before or after surgery. WIMBA Cervical Collar GO is used within an individual veterinary treatment plan, which may also include prescribed activity restriction, medication, rehabilitation and clinical monitoring. Patient selection should follow neurological assessment and appropriate diagnostic imaging. The collar does not replace surgical stabilization when surgery is indicated.

Clinical Indications and Patient Selection

WIMBA Cervical Collar GO is intended for mini and toy-breed dogs when external cervical support is clinically appropriate in selected cases of atlantoaxial instability (AAI), other C1–C2 vertebral instability or selected C1–C2 fractures. It may also be used as temporary preoperative or postoperative support when included in the treating veterinarian’s plan. Final size selection, fitting, duration of use and follow-up should be determined by the treating veterinary professional.
