WIMBA Medical Cervical Collar: Controlled C1–C2 Support for Dogs
Adjustable, 3D-Printed Cervical Support for Selected Upper-Cervical Cases

Veterinary Cervical Support for Selected C1–C2 Cases
WIMBA Medical Cervical Collar is an adjustable, 3D-printed cervical orthosis designed to support the upper cervical spine in selected cases of atlantoaxial instability, C1–C2 vertebral instability or fracture. Available in five sizes for mini and toy-breed dogs, it is selected and ordered by veterinary professionals through WimbaAPP.

When External Cervical Stabilization Is Part of the Treatment Plan
Atlantoaxial instability and other disorders affecting C1–C2 may require control of cervical movement as part of the prescribed treatment pathway. In selected patients, external support may be incorporated into conservative management alongside strict activity restriction, medication and clinical monitoring. It may also be used temporarily before or after surgery when included in the clinician’s protocol. The collar does not replace diagnostic imaging, neurological assessment or surgery when surgical stabilization is indicated.
Clinical Indications and Patient Selection
WIMBA Medical Cervical Collar is intended for mini and toy-breed dogs in selected cases of atlantoaxial instability, C1–C2 vertebral instability or C1–C2 fracture when external stabilization is clinically appropriate. It may also be considered as temporary preoperative or postoperative support. Patient selection, fitting and follow-up remain the responsibility of the treating veterinary professional.
