Who we are
About WIMBA
WIMBA is a veterinary technology company founded in 2022 and based in Kraków, Poland, with operations in the UK and the USA. We design and produce custom orthoses for dogs.
WIMBA was co-founded by Franciszek (Franek) Kosch, CEO, and Grzegorz Kosch. Our founders come from the human prosthetics industry, where they have worked for years and still do. Sister companies in that field have been on the market for nearly 15 years, and that experience in digital design and made-to-measure manufacturing is the foundation of WIMBA.
Our network
Today WIMBA devices are used by 300+ veterinary clinics in 30+ countries, with 2,500+ devices delivered.
Our technology
Each device is made to measure. A clinic scans the patient with a smartphone using WimbaScan, manages the case in WimbaApp, and the orthosis is 3D printed in our own production on HP Multi Jet Fusion technology in HP 3D HR PA 11 material. We also use WimbaBrowse. Our scanning, scan-processing and manufacturing methods are covered by three patent applications.
